Decayed Ethics (Beta Update)


Introduction:


I am a solo developer working on this game with very little knowledge or experience in making games.  Currently I only have maybe 3 years of experience with RPG Maker MV since starting this project so I want to thank all the Alpha players for giving me constructive critisism, resources (Forum links) and ideas on how to make this game better.  Thank you for taking the time to test the Alpha despite all the bugs, rookie mistakes and down-right game breaking switches. Without you I would probably not have grown.

As I get better at drawing, scripting, level design and coding. The game's quality will hopefully reflect my efforts for the better.

I will be moving the Dev room to a whole new location and hidden behind special flags so only certain players can play around there, view all CG scenes available, mess with skills and anything they wish in an isolated location to not affect their story.  

The game isn't fully released, yet.  So please bare with me and I hope to rely on your support in my endeavors to make this game a good one.


Bug Fixes:

Fixed the immediate starting location auto starting 2 different dialogs simutaniously.

Fixed Skills being learned randomly by certain actors like Rin (Manipulator// Mage) learning Double Slash.

Fixed Parallel switches to appropriate effects and variables. (Time, Ethics, Love interests)

Fixed Transporting flags in various locations.

Fixed collisions not flagging properly in Most areas.

Fixed Enemy A.i. and growth to better reflect a normal, but challenging gameplay at 100% difficulty.

Fixed Enemy A.i. and growth formula to reflect harder difficulties 110% - 150% multipliers for those who choose to increase difficulty in Options.

Tweaked A.O.E skills of Player Actors and AI actor of your team to hit their intended targets.

Tweaked Enemy A.O.E so not all AOE skills hit every player team. (May haved to revisit in the future)

Added new Taunt effects to the Beta for Knight Classes and certain enemies.

Tweaked Bard Skills and Equipment to not be over powering, but remain one of the most challenging classes to fight.

Fixed various NPC dialog flags according to time of day and special conditions.

Added a couple sex scenes into the game.


Future Plans: (As of this moment)

Adding many more visual sex scenes to the game.

Adding a C.G. collection 

Adding a better journal system to help remind the player what they were doing.

Adding more quests for the player to explore more continents (Yes I said Continents as in 13 Continents and various Islands)

Optimizing Quest journal to be easier to understand and read, maybe even selectable quests to focus on.

Adding more enemy  and creature types instead of relying on recoloring (if possible).

Expand on Evil path and concequences to flush it out to be as polished as Nuetral and Good path.

Add more NPCs instead of recoloring (except Officers, Fighters, Knights, Assassins, Bards and Manipulators of Amaryllis Faction).

New Game + for replayability with existing character level.

Upgrade visuals for this page to better reflect the game.


Goals:

I want this game to be one of THE biggest (In world size) games available to the player without cluttering it with busy work (like tedious fetch quests of "Collect # apples".) and without making it feel empty.
